I missed you too. I wonder why it took me so long to figure out a rss feed might work better than cross posting. Hrm. I blame summer then the flu of doom.

Do you guys do flu shots? Do they help? The last time I had the flu, I was so sick I couldn't change the baby's diaper. I had to have someone come in and help me (single mom). It was a nightmare!

I don't know what an rss feed is but I am grateful to have it. DW takes some getting used to but there are some great writers here and lots of very nice people. I have been very happy here, which I wasn't on LJ.

Oh yeah, but I'm allergic, so none for me. I have to be v-e-r-y careful when I go out. Makes it like running a germ gauntlet, sometimes. It's probably why this has lingered so long, too.

No, I am not trying to make light of it. I do feel for you. It's horrible to be suseptible to viruses.

I wonder why they can't sink time into curing the common cold/flu rather than fighting to ban gay marriage?

Srsly, there is common sense in the world. :(

Believe me, that's #1 on my shopping list for payday! XD

And I completely agree. Fix the flu/colds, that's an issue that affects everyone. Gay marriage doesn't hurt people at all.

Honestly in this election year I just have to shake my head at people's priorities. We have wildfires ravaging Colorado, floods destroying other parts of the world, disease/famine/torture --

and what is the single most important issue for the American people???

Why that would be same sex marriage. *giant face palm*

Yeah, it's amazing. Here, it's floods, bushfires and illegal immigrants coming in on boats and dying in the treacherous seas up north, but no, the plight of those people isn't the issue, no, it's gay marriage and how do we stop people fleeing terrifying regimes to get somewhere safe. The boat people is a big bugbear of mine, because I feel for these people, and we've had six boats in the last 3 weeks, and all of them have had people die because the boat has been sinking and the navy couldn't get to them in time. The govt and opposition are both ridiculous.
