Then I hope you enjoy the relationship that Gabriel has with his adopted kids - writing it was very special to me, I wanted to make it a loving family unit that grew out of terrible hardship without it coming across as twee in the end product. Gabriel and his kids ended up gelling better in my head and on the page than I thought they would.
