Well, if the wings are 10 metres long, they would need to be 90cm wide to get the necessary nine square metres for a fixed-wing angel to take off with a starting sprint.

But with magical powers you can do anything. Overcome their initial mass to mean they're only lifting a few kilos weight. INduce some local condition that alters the lifting properties of their wings. Cause a near-vacuum on the upper surface to provide additional lift. Lower gravity locally so they weigh less. Perform a miracle. :)
