misslj_authorThe earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand, has led to NZ's PM declaring a national state of emergency. What has happened in NZ is truly awful and a terrible tragedy. The Australiasian region has certainly had a buffeting from Mother Nature this year.

On the other side of the world, Libya is in upheaval. The BBC has a comprehensive article about the situation there and the protests in Bahrain continue.
