It is! This visit, unfortunately, I didn't manage to get to the Palm House, which is heritage listed and was built in 1879 or the Museum of Economic Botany, which was built in 1855, and still houses the original collections. I did grab a few pics to show you, though, being a fellow history buff. :D First two are the Palm House, the last one is the Museum of Economic Botany.



If you've had the opportunity to see the mini series from Aust called "ANZAC Girls," it was all filmed in South Australia, and the Palm House was used as a set for a British cafe in Cairo. The steps of the Museum were used as part of the backdrop for the embassy.
